Hello!
Union Announcements
Classifications have been updated!
CSU employees have long faced misclassification, leading to lost pay, but thanks to recent contract wins, new classification standards will be introduced in 2025 for around 8,000 Career Staff CSU wide. These changes will offer clearer job classifications, better promotional opportunities, and more recognition of industry-specific roles, with a full salary steps structure to be implemented by October 2025. Check out the updated job classifications!
The CSUEU Bargaining Team will host Zoom town halls in January-February to discuss upcoming changes for Career Staff. A key update is that the CSU will implement a full salary steps structure by October 2025, thanks to member engagement and activism.
Reminder: IRP submission deadline is December 31st
This is the last year an In-Range Progression (IRP) will be accepted per our contract, and we are getting down to the wire. Don’t wait to submit one if you are interested. It could positively impact where you are placed on the salary schedule next year! For more information, see Article 20.25 in our contract. You will find instructions and the form on the CO In-Range Progression Guidelines – CSUEU Units 7 and 9 webpage.
Reminder: Position Description Review
It's time to update your Position Description (PD), especially if you haven't done so in the past couple of years, as it may positively impact your salary schedule placement next year. Check the October 18, 2024 Chapter 313 News newsletter for PD update details and review Contract Articles 17.2 to 17.4.

**Warning** Phishing Scam
A fake email is being sent to CSUEU members, pretending to be union President Catherine Hutchinson, as part of a phishing scam. Official union messages will only come from an email ending in "@csueu.org"; if you have concerns, contact communications@csueu.org.
