Union Announcements
📢 Moving toward Steps – i.e., Salary Schedule placement (and beyond) Timeline:
- End of March 2025 – new classifications approved by the Chancellor and campuses are being informed.
- Those that had classification changes should receive communication from HR. Note: not everyone will be placed in a new classification (2022 Mercer report)
- Now through September -
- CSUEU-CSU will be ironing out outstanding classifications situations - items missed, corrections, etc.
- Starting mid-April – staff salary schedule placement consulting begins – more information to come
- Finalizing remainder classification
- October 2025 –
- Staff officially placed on the salary schedule
- November 2025 -
- First paycheck arrives after salary schedule implemented
- January 2026 – bargaining for our next contract begins
