It was so empowering to see more than 8,600
members turn out to vote for our contract extension in November.
The historic contract gains included 10% salary increases over
two years with full steps implementation in 2025. Good job,
Everyone!
As we continue to push the CSU to lift its labor
standards, members have also been working hand-in-hand with
Student Assistants in their fight to join our union. We secured
strong support from state legislators with a "Let Us
Vote" campaign, and 20,000 student workers will get to cast
their UNION YES vote starting January 25!
A successful union election means more worker
power to restore the CSU to its mission of serving students
by investing in the frontline staff who make student success
possible. With Student Assistants joining our bargaining units
(hopefully soon), CSUEU membership will double in size and power.
