The union election for Vice President for
Organizing concluded on Thursday and the results are:
Erin Foote - 52.5%
Monika Salazar - 47.5%
The Board of Directors will meet on August 3,
2024. Delegates from the following groups will cast a vote
representing the will of the membership: Statewide Executive
Committee, Statewide Chairs and Vice Chairs, and Chapter level
President, VP, Recording Officer, Treasurer, Organizing Chair,
and Bargaining Unit Representatives.
The officers will vote in the following manner:
Statewide Executive Officers:
Vote the simple majority winner of all votes cast across the
state.
Bargaining Unit Chairs/Vice Chairs:
Vote the simple majority winner of all votes cast across the
state in their particular bargaining unit.
Chapter Bargaining Unit Representative:
Vote the simple majority winner of all votes cast in their
chapter in their bargaining unit.
Chapter President, Vice President, Recording Officer, Treasurer,
and Organizing Chair:
Vote the simple majority winner of all votes cast in their
chapter.
All protests must be submitted in writing within 1 hour of the
completion of the voting period. The new Officer will be
sworn in at the Board meeting on August 3.
