One of the many benefits of
being CSUEU-represented employees at the CSU are the CalPERS
and CSU-sponsored benefit plans that cover health,
dental and life insurance. Check out the 2025 basic plan rates for healthcare.
There is also a one-time opportunity to enroll or
increase your voluntary life insurance (up to $100,000
for yourself, $50,000 for spouse) without answering medical
questions.
Thanks to our strong negotiated contracts, CSUEU
members have the lowest health cost coverage among state
employees. Be sure to take full advantage of all the benefits
before open enrollment closes on Oct. 11.

Are we ready for largest student worker membership
drive in history? YES
we are!
Student Assistants voted in overwhelming numbers
earlier this year to form their union with CSUEU - and next
month we can join them to sign up the next generation of union
members at the CSU.
Bargaining Team member Kaily Brooks made a
short video that lays out what's at stake this fall. Check
it out on Instagram or YouTube.

This week's "New Member Spotlight"
features Vinna Chan, Administrative Support Coordinator at Chico.
"I joined CSUEU because I love my
campus. From the students we help to the faculty and staff we
work with, this campus has been my home for many years. To keep
such a delicate and special balance equitable and to give other
academic support units the same, fair experience, it is important
to join the union and share our experiences."
