Bargaining Update: We’re Standing Strong for Real Raises and Steps
A tunnel of members organized by the CSUEU Long Beach Contract Action Team ushered in the CSU bargaining team for today’s session. Their actions backed up the CSUEU bargaining team. We stood strong behind our demand for real raises and steps. See table below for our current wage proposal and a downloadable graphic .
In our proposal today, we made non-economic concessions to help move bargaining forward. We did NOT change our demand for money that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of CSUEU members.
Our next bargaining sessions are Oct. 7 and 22 - locations to be determined.
