#StrikeReadySummer Hits East Bay on Aug. 11
Our next bargaining session with CSU management is Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Cal State East Bay. Whatever the Boss shows up with, our Bold and Blue Army will be ready to support our Bargaining Team!
CSUEU members are beyond tired of CSU's shenanigans and members like April Dunham-Filson, of Stanislaus, are one hundred percent in #StrikeReadySummer mode.

Workers from our Northern California campuses, including San Francisco, San Jose, and Sacramento, will be at East Bay to back up our Bargaining Team with a loud-and-proud rally and march prior to the session. CSUEU members from throughout the state plan to show solidarity by holding practice picketing actions on campus. Check in with your Contract Action Team members to participate in your local action.
Everything we do has one purpose: Dial up the heat to pressure the Chancellor's bargaining team. We demand a fair and just contract with full salary steps and wage increases to keep up with skyrocketing inflation. Be sure to join the post-bargaining update on Aug. 13 at Noon. Register here.

Union Members Reach Deal to Earn Compensatory Time Off
If you missed the big news last week, our Union reached an agreement with the CSU to continue the policy of allowing employees to earn compensatory time off (CTO) for overtime shifts. After the contract expired on July 1, this policy was temporarily rescinded due to the lack of a collective bargaining agreement. Both parties have agreed to reinstate the policy for the benefit of our members.
