New Organizing Across the CSU

We have won two elections at Sacramento State (Associated Students Inc.) and Cal State Long Beach (Beach Shops), but we have plenty more to go. You can help connect these workers with our movement.

Take Digital Action On Thursday to Fight for Medicaid
The House Republican Leadership's plan for healthcare is a horror story: the largest Medicaid cuts in history; millions of working families kicked off their healthcare; and shifting massive costs to states.
This Thursday (May 15), SEIU members are coming together to share the real struggles of navigating Medicaid and our broken healthcare system. We need worker stories that highlight how vital Medicaid!
What You Can Do:
1. Record a short video showing the horror of what your family would face without Medicaid or the battles you endure to access or keep it.
2. Post on your social media accounts. Use the hashtag: #healthcarehorrorstories and be sure to tag @CSUEU.
Together, we are demanding that Congress protect and expand Medicaid.
Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage MonthAAPI residents make up 15% of California's total population and play an integral role in supporting the mission of the CSU. Our members with Asian and Pacific Islander heritage enrich our union with diverse perspectives and cultural practices. ![]() |
