Leaders Needed for Statewide CSUEU Committees
Our Union is the place where workers come together to maximize our collective power as we fight for good pay, safe working conditions, and respect. Many of us are also committed to other issues like supporting diversity, ensuring safe workplaces, and communicating CSUEU's priorities to a statewide audience.
If you would like to become more involved and help our Union grow stronger, consider joining one of the statewide committees below.
CONSTITUENCY GROUPS
CSUEU is proud to support and uplift the diverse identities, experiences, and voices of our union family. Our Constituency Groups are spaces for community, empowerment, and advocacy, and we are inviting members to apply to serve on these critical groups. You can apply to one or more of the following groups:
- Allies
- Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI)
- Black
- Chican@/Latin@
- Disability
- LGBTQIA+
- Native American
- Veterans
- Women’s
These groups help guide our union’s work on equity, inclusion, and representation, ensuring that every voice is heard and every member is valued.
Participation is open to CSUEU-represented employees statewide. Meetings will be held virtually with occasional optional in-person gatherings.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
This committee plays a vital role in identifying and addressing health and safety concerns across all CSU campuses.
If you have a passion for creating safer working environments, experience in safety-related issues, or want to get more involved in your union, we encourage you to apply.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
This committee plays a crucial role in shaping how the we communicate with our members, legislators, the media, and the broader community. From newsletters to social media, campaign messaging to press releases, this is your chance to help strengthen the union’s voice across the state.
Whether you have experience in writing, graphic design, social media, editing, video, public speaking, or have ideas to share, we encourage you to apply here.
