Union Coalition Action Today
Members of CSUEU, CFA, Teamsters, and UNITE HERE picketed today outside of the CSU Board of Trustees’ closed meeting at the downtown Long Beach Marriott. Not only has the CSU insulted and disrespected their own union employees, they’ve chosen to expand their disrespect of workers by meeting at a hotel on UNITE HERE’s boycott list!
We’re tired of the CSU’s anti-Union behavior: bad faith bargaining, broken promises, refusal to pay workers’ contractual raises, and refusal to negotiate future raises. This is another step in our Contract Action Team's escalation path. Each week we are growing more and more prepared to take the ultimate action: STRIKE.

Bargaining on the Issues that Matter to You
Do you have questions about the CSU's counter proposal to our economic package? Join members of our Bargaining Team for a Zoom Town Hall to hear more details about the CSU's insulting offer to our members.
Read about what they offered us on our website.
Register now for the Zoom Town Hall on Wednesday, July 22 at 12 p.m. here.

Strike School Session 2
We wrapped up our second Strike School last week, and now dozens of trained CAT leaders are headed back to their campuses with a plan. Join your campus' Contract Action Team and work with members from across the state to talk to employees on every campus about their readiness to strike to win the raises we deserve.
The lessons learned at this session will help our union prepare for our next bargaining dates on:
- August 11 - CSU East Bay
- August 20 - Chancellor's Office

SEIU Immigration Conference
SEIU members from all over California are gathering in Sacramento for a day of learning, connecting, and action, followed by a lobby day in support of immigrant rights legislation. Members from our Union will be joining this historic occasion on August 11-12!
