Contract 2026: Ready to Strike for Our Raises!
On every campus we are ready to strike. As our "March on the Boss" last Friday showed, workers are ready to strike to win full steps, raises & job security! For Contract 2026, we demand: fully-funded steps retroactive to October 2025 and 3 years of 11% raises per year for all staff. We will see how CSU responds when we bargain next week at SFSU, where we're planning another "Bold and Blue" action!
As the largest union representing Staff, Student Workers, and 1,000 employed by private Auxiliaries, CSUEU members are coming together in massive numbers to win big in 2026. Stay tuned!
Read more about last week's staff bargaining here and this week's student assistant bargaining here. Staff are in bargaining again next week at San Francisco State University on June 16. Join the fight by joining the Contract Action Team.

Sac State Members Protect Telework
The collective efforts of stewards to fight back Sac State's unilateral decision to end telework have succeeded! And that's not all.
The Vice President/Provost for Academic Affairs who made the short-sighted and arbitrary decision is out!
Working in coalition with other unions, Sac State staff came together for a campaign in March, urging University President Luke Wood to reconsider the decision.
Workers' continuous protests were heard. Last week, President Wood installed an interim Vice President who immediately announced that existing telecommuting agreements on campus would stand until further review.

New Our Voice Our Union Bylaws: Vote in July!
Our union needs to become more democratic, inclusive, and representative of the powerful union we have become. Starting in July, every CSUEU represented member will be asked to vote on a new set of bylaws.
With our growth comes the opportunity to expand union democracy and our power as workers at CSU.
We encourage you to review the Our Voice Our Union Bylaws at csueu.org/bylaws and prepare to vote YES for a more democratic, inclusive, and powerful union for all.
