Staff Equity Meeting Followup

In order to follow-up from our Chapter meeting this past Friday (5/22), we have created a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), attached to this article.  Additionally the CSUEU Response letter (thanks to Brian Young) is attached.

While this does not impact all of our staff, it is a step in the right direction to address IRP discrepancies of the past. Please be assured that while SDSU and CSUEU Chapter leadership are working towards an equitable, long-term solution, we still have a lot of work to accomplish in the months and years ahead. In the mean time, this Group IRP will affect a wide-range of our staff and help them reach or come close to the mid-line of their salary range. Individual IRP submissions are still available and encouraged if you feel that you meet the qualifications.

Please note: this is definitely a team effort and a new IRP program design that was brought about due to the concerns of our staff. Your membership is valuable to our effort to push for equity within the workplace. With more voices in our corner we can accomplish a lot, but we need all of our employees to back our effort to work for you as best as we can.  Not a member?  Join here.
